Eighty years have passed on Earth since the events chronicled in Macross: Do you Remember Love? The descendants of the Zentraedi/Meltrandi conflict have established a new society with the people of Earth. When alien invaders identified as renegade Zentraedi threaten this uneasy alliance, the Super Dimensional Fortress Macross must resurrect itself after generations of inactivity to fight against the enemy forces. Hibiki Kanzaki, an investigative reporter for Scramble News Network (SSN), is caught up on the battle when he inadvertently allies himself with Ishtar, and enigmatic Zentraedi princess. Enlisting the help of spirited Valkyrie pilot Silvie Gena, Hibiki rushes to save Ishtar from imminent "reprogramming" by hostile Zentraedi. Silvie and Hibiki must also broadcast the truth about Zentraedi invasion and convince the powerful military complex U.N. Spacy to reactivate the Macross fortress and defend Earth one more time.

This is likely the best rip of this horrid movie you'll ever find. I don't think anyone would put this much work OVR'ing something as unpopular as this. The largest was because this was originally 6 OVAs and each seemed to have its own video quality, so you may notice a definite difference between the chapters. I believe it was the 4th which was the largest pain for me matching. PS... if i ever find someone with the dvd, or if get it myself, I'll make scans.
